May 17 @ 10:00 am - 11:00 am
Oak Leaf Cooperative School, a nature education nonprofit run by parents and teachers, is launching a cooperative forest preschool informed by Jewish values, but open to all. To build community, we are offering a free, mixed-age playgroup for toddlers and caregivers at Woodlands Garden in Decatur, thanks to generous support from the Jewish Federation of Atlanta’s Innovation Initiative! Join us Friday mornings to explore nature, connect with other families, and develop appreciation for a local wildlife habitat. Once a month, there will be special hands-on activities related to Shabbat, holidays, Tikkun Olam, or environmental stewardship. The playgroup will meet outdoors in all seasons except in the event of severe weather.
Day/Time:
Every Friday morning 10-11 am
Ages:
18 months – 4 years old
Location:
Woodlands Garden, 932 Scott Blvd, Decatur, GA 30030. In the event of severe weather, classes will take place in the Woodlands Garden pavilion.
Registered participants will receive an email with more details as well as updates about special events.
