Yoga in Nature
The Pavilion at Woodlands Garden is a perfect setting to stretch and relax. Join our instructor, Aditi Chandrasekhar, for a free and relaxing session of ‘Yoga in Nature’ this Saturday. Parking off-site is required; a map for the same can be found here.
Aditi is a YAI-certified yoga instructor and started her yoga practice in 2005 at the Krishnamacharya Yoga Mandiram in Chennai, India. She received her Post Graduate Diploma in Yoga Training from the Tamil Nadu Physical Education and Sports University in 2012. She went on to teach ‘Yoga for Fitness’ at the Vinieyoga Healing Centre (former Viniyoga Healing Foundation), where she has been a student since 2010. Her practice has been in the vinyasa style, based on hatha yoga, involving physical movement (asana practice) with a focus on breath through mudras, kriyas, and pranayama. She has been conducting ‘Yoga in Nature’ sessions at Woodlands Garden since April 2015.
When:
Saturday, May 19 from 4 pm to 5 pm

Hand towel (to roll up under your neck)
Bottle of water

Lots of stretches and deep breathing

A donation box will be set up in a corner; all proceeds go towards preserving and maintaining Woodlands Garden.
