Qi Gong in Nature

Like a tree, we can root into the earth, and suspend from the sky. Qigong is a fluid movement
practice to enhance well being by opening up the breath and activating the brain. The
movement is slow, subtle, and energizing. We will remain upright as we practice balance,
breath, and alignment. Learn how the seasons and the elements connect to our bodies, as we
develop the capacity to be more engaged with the present moment and the natural world in
the gardens around us.
Bio:
Heidi has had a fascination with Qigong since the late 90’s, when her interest in the healing arts
began. She has kept a daily qigong practice for well-being and a healthy lifestyle. She has
studied and trained with high level instructors and medical professionals in qigong, tai chi,
breathwork, somatics, internal martial arts, occupational therapy, sensory integration as well as
many other healing modalities. Her other favorite fitness activities include swimming, yoga and
dance.
